Join Mike This Summer At Tetherow Golf Club -

Bend, Oregon

Starting July 26th, Mike Wilson Golf will be located in Bend, Oregon for the summer. Tetherow Golf Club at the new Tetherow Resort will be the teaching venue for Mike from the end of July through September. In the fall Mike Wilson Golf will return to The Palms Golf Club in La Quinta for the season.

Tetherow.jpgTetherow Golf Club will hold a grand opening on July 26th. The David McLay Kidd-designed layout is the centerpiece of a new 700-acre resort community on the west side of the city in Central Oregon. Kidd's most notable designs include the original course at Bandon Dunes and the Castle Course, the seventh course in St. Andrews, Scotland.

The course will feature Kidd's signature design traits, including links-style play that involves playing the game on the ground as well as the air. The routing fits with the natural terrain, while providing an interesting mix of holes framed by ragged bunkers, knobs and knolls. Vistas from the course take in panoramas of the Cascade Mountains and neighboring high-desert terrain.
